I am a consultant for Acer EMEA, working as a master copywriter for traditional printed marketing material. I am currently involved in a more pro-active approach to Acer’s online activities consulting on everything from Search Engine Optimization to blog initiatives.

On a personal level, I have been experimenting with search engine optimization through my Italian blog, Consulente Copywriter, building up a PR4 site in six months and successfully getting on first page of Google Italy for many of my chosen keywords.

TheAcerGuy is also beginning to draw in many readers from SERPs so I am looking forward to developing a few strategies there to improve reader satisfaction and relevance. It’s also proved an invaluable point of contact with the outside world of IT.

My wife and I have started the Runaway Parent blog series. Mine is in English, hers in Italian. This is our first attempt at a multi-author blog set up and it will be interesting to see how fast it takes off.

Finally, for now, there is the Web-Teach project. This is an attempt to combine Blog, and Wiki technologies into an RSS-based adaptive learning environment for language tuition. Now that’s taking up a lot of time!
