My Projects

I would like to introduce you to a few projects that I currently am working on.

The Acer Guy

The Acer Guy

The Acer Guy is the most popular unofficial blog dedicated entirely to Acer on the web.

Launched in 2006 as a way to overcome the physical and strategic constraints of traditional marketing, the blog is built on the principles of The Cluetrain Manifesto, only publishing reviews from real customers, and allowing and promoting unrestricted communication between users, allowing it to gain a formidable reputation as the place to go for helpful information, friendly support and good-old TLC.

In December 2008, the site was completely restyled by The Blog Studio in order to open it up more to the growing community it has formed and continues to serve. The site generates about 60K unique visitors per month.

Runaway Parents

We’re parents, lovers, a couple. We have kids, a job and responsibilities that absorb nearly all our energy. We need time to find ourselves.

Runaway Parents is the brainchild of a couple in Italy who decided that enough was enough, it was high time some of the copious amounts of energy they pour into their day to day lives went back into their relationship.

Gaia and Michael set up Runaway Parents, alongside its Italian sister blog, Genitori In Fuga, to share our experiences, and hopefully pick up a few more recommendations from other long-suffering, hard-working parents…

Language Is Free

Language Is Free is the first website to combine the latest social technologies to create a dynamic language learning platform.

Designed from the ground-up to provide free language tuition on a mass scale, Language Is Free aims to reshape the way languages are taught and learned.

The ultimate goal of Language Is Free is to provide a platform where teachers and writers from across the globe can contribute written articles and video lessons that are then matched according to specific didactic criteria so that teaching styles, accents and cultures are mixed while at the same time the students can focus their personal courses on topics that are of interest to them (sport, music, current affairs, finance, etc.).
Both teachers and writers share equally any revenues generated from advertisements placed on their lesson pages.

Currently the site is in beta.
